The Quasars played in a friendly match with a team from Greater London to 'showcase' their talent for the head coach of the Mississippi Valley State University (MVSU) Women's Soccer team. MVSU is a NCAA Division I school who play in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. The MVSU Devilettes were the finalists in the Southwestern Athletic Conference championship. Coach Joseph says he likes Canadian soccer players, as is evident by the fact that 15 of the 26 players on the Devilette roster are Canadians. Six of the fifteen are from London ON. He also said that he liked what he saw, and was looking forward to a return visit to see more of Quasars in action.

The Quasars start their WOYSL Level 3 season by winning the Kick Off Cup tournament. The team met the team from the Soo for the 3rd time in three days. Once again it was hard fought, very close match with the Quasars Christina finding the back of the net in the later part of the first half for what turned out to be the game winner. If the tournament is any indication, this season promises to be filled with very exciting games, with a league of what looks like very evenly matched teams.
