Sep 17 - Tryouts for the 2008 Outdoor team

The Quasars are holding try outs for the 2008 season. After finishing in 3rd place in the Western Ontario Youth Soccer League, the Quasars will be playing in the West Region elite league again in 2008.

The first try out will be held Saturday September 22 from Noon to 2:00 PM at the London United Fields. A second try out will be held Saturday September 29 from Noon to 2:00 PM at the London United fields.

Due to the Quasars positive results in 2007, it is expected that there will be a significant number of new player looking to join the 2008 Quasars. If you want a chance at playing for the 2008 outdoor Quasars you are expected to attend these tryouts.

The September version of the Terra Power Rankings were published yesterday. Once again the Quasars efforts have been recognized by TRP.  This month the Quasars move up to #22, a climb of 8 spots from last month.

Quasars made it to the finals of the John Henderson Tournament for the 3rd year in a row.  They played an excellent game against the Ajax Storm [OYSL U15] with the final score being Ajax 2 - Quasars 1.

Aug 24

As promised, the Henderson schedule is now posted. There are 4 team in our division. We are playing Ajax, Chatham, and Sarnia. 1st and 2nd place from the round robin will proceed to the final game on Monday. See schedule on our game page.

The August version of the Terra Power Rankings were published last week and as predicted the Quasars have move up in the rankings. This month they are ranked  30, up 9 spots from last month's ranking.

Quasars rank 39th in the first Terra Power Rankings of the 2007 season. See the full U16 girls TPR by clicking here.  The team has climbed up to 2nd place after a bit of a slow start.  This performance should improve the team standings in the next TPR due in early August.

Ontario Cup schedule has been posted. The Quasars play Windsor on Saturday July 7 at 11:00 AM and Sarnia at 5:00 PM the same day. The third game is Sunday July 8 at 11:00 AM against Erin Mills Eagles B. The details are posted on our Game page.

Jun 4

Games and training session will be cancelled at the field due to lightning and not before. You should plan to show up at any scheduled game or practice unless hear otherwise from the coaching staff.

May 14

Today's training session is cancelled. Next session on Wednesday.  Friendly game with St. Thomas on Thursday May 17 under 'the lights' at North London Stadium. Game time is 8:30, be at the field by 7:45.

Don't forget flower order pickup is Thursday May 10 during practice at the London United fields.

The Ontario Cup Draw was completed Sunday.  The Quasars are playing in Group 6 with Sarnia Spirit, Windsor Fury, and Erin Mills Eagles B. The games are in Sarnia on July 7 and 8.

WOYSL schedule is now finalized.  There have been a few minor changes from the original schedule. The Windsor game has been rescheduled to June 16.

Tournament schedule for MASC in Cincinnati is now available on our games page.

The preliminary 2007 outdoor schedule has been posted on the WOYSL. Our games can be found on the games pages.  Once change in the teams LaSalle Stompers has been replaced by the Windsor Fury.
